The Sun

The Sun

We need the dark

As much as the light

But without the sun

There’d only be night

Please give us heat

And our daily bread

Surely without you

We all would be dead

I don’t pray to stars

Yes this is true

But I want to give

My thanks to you

And I appreciate

All the things that you do
