Stars Like You

Stars Like You

Never do, if you won’t

Never, because that is your state of mind

Be, if that is all you do

And grateful, because being, is something

And if you are more than that

Know it, because that is something

Most people never know that they are;

Something

And darkness is mostly the absence of you

Without you there surely is darkness

If your light is dim, we can still see you

If you exist at all, there you are

Every soul is light

And the further away you are

The more darkness you have endured

We applaud your braveness

If your light is dim

It is your braveness that led you there

And if you are never told again

It is stars like you that light the sky
