Who Am I?

Who Am I?

I hold myself still and look in the mirror

Have you ever just looked?

I see a reflection and notice it is mine

But do I really know?

Who am I?

I see marks that I have never noticed

Sure the face is mine but there they are

And I never noticed

Where is this person going?

Have I ever stopped to wonder?

Can I ask why and expect an answer?

Have I ever given one in truth?

I don’t think so

I really don’t want to hear what is said

Or I would have already heard the answer

I am afraid

I am alone

I was born

I will die

I will never know

I will always be

I will move

I will

I
