Deaf & Dumb

Down across the mirror

You flap, out folds your tongue

And slick and flick, you tuck your stick

Inside your shoe and run

I close my eyes to see the moon

And pitch stones at the sun

Dragging clouds across the stars

Cause I’m the only one

Choke my throat, plug my ears

Make me deaf and dumb

Snag the light from every sky

Cause I’m the only one
