Cracks of Light

Back into confusion, nag, nag, nag

And tear your eyelids back

Mindless blur and babies stir

As the world begins to crack

Crush, snuff and drag

Your soul

From its body bag

And God, and Is, and This

Blind flight

Are paved in cracks of light

And seeds that bleed, grow deep

You feed and dream and sleep

Those unaware into darkness stare

And it’s only fear that keeps them there

Crush, snuff and drag

Your soul

From its body bag

And God, and Is, and This

Blind flight

Are paved in cracks of light
