It’s Christmas time once again

And the New Years ready to begin

Santa Clause and all that stuff

It seems you kids can’t get enough

What I would like most to do

Is spend my Christmas day with you

But since we are so far away

I guess its here that I must stay

So as you read this Christmas poem

Know that I am safe at home

If you feel bad that I’m alone
