Say Goodbye

I sink below the ocean blue

To guard my heart from pain

And hide my thoughts from view

Every time I hear your name

I hurt inside at times

And wish it was not so

But if one looks one finds

A world they do not know

I care for you so much

And wish our love could be

But this I cannot touch

You just weren’t meant for me

I know we tried our best

I don’t want you to cry

But my mind just won’t rest

Until I say goodbye
